Our company is always interested in finding and keeping skilled
craftsmen who are interested in traveling with us from job to job
and who would represent our company well. We expect our
personnel to do top quality craftsmanship and to present themselves
properly. While most of those who work with us on a full
time basis are electricians, we also employ Apprentice Electricians,
Linemen, Groundmen, Carpenters and Equipment Operators that travel with us from job to
job. We offer benefits for our full time employees, which
include health care insurance and 401K retirement programs. We
also have an "in-house" 4 year Electrical Apprenticeship Training
Program, which is accredited by the U S Department of Labor.
If you are interested in talking to us about possible employment,
here are some things that you need to consider before making
application.
|
- We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
As such, we do not discriminate on the basis of sex or race.

|
-
We are an E-Verify employer. We utilize the Federal E-Verify
system to verify the eligibility of new hires to work for us, as
required under Federal law. To this end, new hires will be
entered into the Federal government's E-Verify
system at time of hire, and only new hires whose eligibility is
confirmed by
the E-Verify system, or whose eligibility is currently under
review by the system, will not be allowed to go to work for us.

We are a Drug Free Workplace employer.
All applicants must undergo a comprehensive drug screening
before being allowed to go to work for us. Additionally,
we perform random, periodic drug testing of our employees.
Our company has a Drug Free Workplace policy, and many of the
Owners for which we work have their own additional Drug Free
Workplace policies, which all employees are required to comply
with at all times.

We are a Government Contractor.
Our company does a large percentage of our work for local, state
or federal government agencies, as well as many large, privately
owned companies. Many of our projects are on military
facilities or similar sites that require special passes or
security clearances. As such periodic background checks
may be required for all employees. We require valid
I-9 information of all applicants at time of hire on any of our
projects.
|
-
Our company is highly mobile.
Applicants need to
have a valid, current driver's license and their own means of
transportation, even if the project that you are working on is
located in your home area. Many times our projects will be
hundreds of miles apart or hundreds of miles from our home
office. If you are interested in being a long term
employee of our company and would like to take advantage of our
retirement and health care benefits, you need to be prepared to
travel from one project location to another as conditions
necessitate. We should stress here that employees are hired on a
project by project basis. The nature of our work is
such that our personnel needs vary, and, just as is the case in
any construction type job, many factors enter into who continues
on with us from project to project and who does not.

We offer a D.O.L. accredited
Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program. You must
have a high school diploma or a valid G.E.D. in order to
qualify for the program. You must also be ready to commit
to a 4 year program which includes both "On the job" and outside
"related training". Our program has been tailored to specialize
in Commercial Electrical, Substation and Overhead Line
construction. Upon successful completion, you will receive
a certificate from he U.S. Department of Labor indicating that
you have graduated from an accredited Electrical Apprenticeship
Training Program. Our personnel also attend classes, from
time to time, on topics relating to jobsite safety or to specialized
work related skills.

We want people who are willing to work
hard, who are honest and who will represent us well.
We expect our personnel to do quality work, to present
themselves properly, and to get
along well with others. They should be properly motivated
and have good work ethics. Our reputation is important to
us and we expect our employees to represent us properly. When we leave a project, we want to be able to take
pride in our work and we want to leave a good relationship with
the project Owners and Engineers that we have worked for.

Safety is the utmost concern on ALL
of our projects. Employees need to be willing and
able to abide by all applicable safety regulations and be able
to exercise proper judgment as it relates to their own safety
and the safety of those working around them. Employees
must be willing and able to take and to properly follow
instructions given to them by their supervisors and site safety
personnel. We also offer periodic, specialized training and
courses to ensure that our personnel are competent, by reason of
training and experience, in the tasks that they are required to
perform in their job.

|
If you
have the qualities listed above, and are interested in knowing more
about working for a company that does quality work and treats it's
employees fairly, then give us your information by filling in the on
line application at the link below. Be sure to
outline any special training or skills that you have, a description
of your work experience and any related
references that we can contact if needed. If you have a resume, you
will see a link at the end of the application that will allow you to
attach it and e-mail to us as a part of your application. Your
application and resume will be posted on our company website, where
all supervisory personnel can look at it and contact you if desired.
ALL applicants are drug screened
and run through E-Verify at the
time of their hire, and randomly drug screened thereafter. We
use laboratory tests, as well as "field kit" testing. The tests
are thorough and comprehensive. If you cannot
pass a drug screening test or a background check, there is no need
to fill out the application, as our Drug Free Workplace policies and the policies of the project
owners that we do work for will not allow you to go to work
for us.
